Hollywood came to bergenPAC when comedy legend Jay Leno led a caravan from Benzel-Busch Mercedes-Benz Automotive Dealership through downtown Englewood to Bergen Performing Center (bergenPAC), where he cut the ribbon to reopen the theater after a $10 renovation project.
The $10 million renovation secured the first phase of the building project and now bergenPAC is working to raise an additional $5 million in capital funding to complete the next phase of the renovation.

bergenPAC's Community Arts Access Program partners with social agencies, donating performance tickets making arts accessible to those who may not have the resources to see a live performance.
Performing Arts School
The Performing Arts School at bergenPAC is Bergen County’s premiere hub for arts education. The PAS has lessons in Music, Theater, Dance, Early Childhood, and an extensive outreach program.
With over 300 classes and 45 instructors, the PAS is home to over 1,000 students annually ranging from ages 2-18 and no child is turned away due to an inability to pay. Visit us today!

Partnership with Public Schools
The Performing Arts School partners with 140 New Jersey public schools bolstering their existing arts programs benefiting 15,000 students with workshops, masterclasses, residencies, assemblies, and co-theater presentations. Co-Productions with Public Schools include producing a musical where bergenPAC provides a team of professional directors, choreographers, sound, and more.
Special Assembly Programs
In partnership with the public schools, the performing arts school produces assembly programs teaching real-life issues, including anti-bullying, drug abuse awareness, health and nutrition, diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging.
Special Needs
"Voices in Harmony" is a program with New Jersey public schools for students with special needs where 300 students and 20 young adults participate in residencies focused on hip hop, music, dance, and theater. The students perform their production live on the bergenPAC stage.
Rachel Zegler
Rachel Zegler plays "Maria," the leading role in Steven Spielberg's remake of the classic West Side Story seen in theaters worldwide and nominated for 7 Academy Awards. Rachel, a New Jersey native, made her debut in the same role in bergenPAC's 2017 production of West Side Story. She recently won a Golden Globe for Best Actress in A Musical.
Felice Kakaletris & Sophie Knapp
Current students Felice Kakaletris and Sophie Knapp both attend the Performing Arts School's Young Professionals Vocal Academy, they played the roles of orphans Molly and July in NBC's Annie Live!, which aired nationally on Dec. 2.
Vince Ermita
Current student, Vince Ermita at the mere age of 11 years old, stars as Young Simba in the current production of Disney’s The Lion King on Broadway.
